WRAP AROUND OUR KIDS PROGRAMMING WILL RESUME IN JANUARY 2013!

All Wrap Around Our Kids Club youth members are required to have Dictionaries and Thesauruses in the home.  We want kids to use their Dictionaries and Thesauruses as a tool to develop word power and self-confidence. We provide these books to children in low-income families.

Register your youngster in WAOK.TV Kids Club, for kids 4-17. 

Wrap Around Our Kids Club Member - children 4-17 . A Saturday program in which children learn how to create internet TV content for WAOK.TV Kids Channel, to be launched in 2013. 

• "29 BEEs with Boots"  Talent Team - 7 - 17 year olds. Does your youngster  like to act, sing, dance?  Well here's their chance!  Our mascot is a bee with boots, to "kick illiteracy to the curb." We will be developing youth literacy public service announcements in a fun entertaining way, using the talents of the  Bees with Boots Talent Team. They will actually get to wear a cool Bee costume! 

Audition required to BEE on the team. If you don't get on the team, don't worry, you are still a full-fledged Wrap Around Our Kids Club member and there will be lots of  fun stuff to do.

• Teeny Weeny Bees - 4-6 year olds. This is a bilingual program to also help little Teeny Weeny BEEs develop self-confidence and positive self -esteem. 

Children will learn the "Macarena" and "What a Wonderful World" in English & Spanish and the older kids will help learn to edit & produce this and other wonderful video ideas.
